Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba Inc., Winnipeg,
Ircom Inc. empowers newcomer families to integrate into the wider community through affordable transitional housing plus onsite programs and settlement services. They specialize in supporting newly arrived refugee families in their first years in Manitoba and are unique in that they have two residential facilities coupled with on-site, highly accessible services - including psychosocial supports to enable accelerated settlement and integration success. This grant helps towards the purchase of classroom furniture for their Newcomer Literacy Initiative (NLI) and the Homework and Educational for Youth programs.

This grant helps with the purchase of one Inchy the Worm Vending Machine.
