This program hires university students and former youth mentors that work with these students to promote physical activity, literacy and healthy eating. Mary Duncan School, The Pas MD is a grade 7-12 alternative learning facility. This school offers programs outside of the core courses. They offer a cooking program that the students not only enjoy nourishing food but also gain a much needed life skill. This grant helps with the evening family cooking program. | $8,000 |
